Aim and objective of lecture series:
From first year of college it has been stressed that understanding of patient and analysis was the most important base for our future and practice, and the tool needed for this is case taking. Although theoretically every year we went through this question again and again but yet practically no body took the case in front of us and showed us the process of the unfolding the art of case taking and it bargain we all developed our own style of case taking. So a compromise was made since our case taking ended with fears, dreams, anger, nature, life style and craving and aversion, and consolation!
Then came to part of jumping a repertory-picking rubrics and coming to a remedies skipping the most vital part i.e. understanding of patient – thus the original purpose for taking the case as mentioned in Organon-to understand the patient, is lost. It is for this same reason that a group of well known Homoeopaths when sit together not come down to same understanding of the patient and remedy. The patient is same, remedy explanation is same, same rubrics, then why the discrepancy?
With so many questions in
my mind, I sat with various Homoeopaths and many more queries aroused in
regards to what method to follow. I am sure that many of us have this
question in our mind.
Then I came in touch with Dr. Rajan Sankaran who first actually enlightened me that, it is not remedy that is important nor it is you understanding of the patient, but what is the patient’s perception of himself and his surrounding, his feelings and his deeper sensations. Look in the case what is important for the patient not for you.
To understand this truth, the art of case taking has to be slow process of evolution, which unfolds the core of the patient. Your patient is the hero, director, producer, musician, singer everything. Let patient make his own picture. Let him discover his own feelings, delusions, sensations and energy patterns.
To impart this
knowledge and experience that has changed my outlook to our science, which I
have utmost faith in, I have decided to take lecture series to eradicate the
darkness in the mind of several other learning homeopaths. I believe that “if
you have knowledge, let other light their candle at it”
Let us together discover the
feelings, delusions, sensations and the energy patterns, hidden in human
beings and matter as well as in the universe.
All of us have some knowledge that is limited. We need to unite in such a way that we can extend our growth by putting behind our individuality and overcome our limitations and grow together and reach newer horizons of this infinite knowledge that our science promises us.
The aim of these lecture series is to grow together. I believe, in this journey, there is neither any leader to reach nor teacher nor a student nor a follower. This is the platform where we shall explore the truth together. And for that we need to do constant dialogue and not monologue.
Our aim
is not just to analyze the existing knowledge, but also to start from the
scratch and see what the Truth is.
Idea about the truth of some one is the same as what we know the truth.
After all, “Our high and only mission is to restore the sick to health..” All of us are searching the same goal. So, with this aim in our mind, let us walk together in this journey with an open mind and collectively explore the unexplored paths and not leave any stone unturned in the process of our discoveries on the path of truth.
