Discussion Series
‘Sunday Lecture Series for Interns and Beginners’
We conduct lecture series for interns and beginners every alternate Sundays. It is a group of 15-20 interns and beginners where they share their queries and difficulties they encounter. We begin with the concept of Homoeopathic philosophy, the concept of health and disease, miasms and discuss the step-by-step understanding of human being. Here we focus more on how to understand the patient by using different techniques of case taking, what do we need to observe while receiving the case, how can we remain unprejudiced in the case taking process.
Apart from this, we also conduct some lectures of modern medicine to brief the beginners with the basic knowledge of some of the non-invasive procedures like Radiology, MRI, CT Scan, and Sonography etc. that can be helpful in their clinical practice. We also discuss the cases with the systemic pathology in detail in regards to the subject of Medicine so that the students have a clear idea about the kind of pathological cases they will be dealing with.
‘Sunday Lecture Series for Senior Doctors’
We conduct a Sunday lecture series for the senior doctors of Mumbai every alternate Sundays. It is a group of 10-15 senior doctors who are practicing since 5-7 years. In this group each one of us present our difficult cases and we discuss the whole case in detail, so that each one of us get a clear idea about the art of case taking, the mistakes that we make in understanding the patient, about the choice of remedy and interpreting the follow-ups. There is more intensive discussion on the latest developments of the concepts and new techniques of the case taking.
‘A Group Discussion of Failure Cases’
We have started a discussion group amongst the practitioners of different states. It is a small group of about 5-10 doctors (Doctors who have already started or doing the practice since quite some time, minimum three years of practice), where we meet every 3 monthly for 2 days and discuss each other’s cases.
Everyone brings his one difficult video cases and/or paper cases, and we discuss the difficulties he encountered, especially mistakes made during case witnessing process, in understanding the core of the human being, mistakes during understanding the energy pattern of the patient, what all he learnt from the case, about the selection of the remedy, mistakes in understanding the follow-ups and what new techniques which can be applied in understanding the failure cases which could have been of help to explore still deeper.
Such interactive sessions are of great help to each one of us. This kind of exchange of ideas and experiences has helped us a lot in our growth. Every one of us could experience a major shift in the art of exploring the case within a short span of few months itself.
Up till now we have started such discussions with Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Pune doctors.
‘Discussion with Practitioners of Modern Medicine’
In this discussion group, we invite the practitioners of modern medicine and explain the whole philosophy of Homoeopathy. We present our cured cases to explain the whole concept and how Homoeopathy works in different cases. Even allopaths present their cases and discuss about their line of treatment that can guide homoeopaths to advise their patients. There is a very open, healthy discussion regarding the limitations of both the system of practice. This discussion is intended for the serious practitioners whose only focus is the well-being and comfort of the suffering individuals. The aim of this discussion is how best can both the system of practice can be of a maximum benefit to the patients.
