Case of Brain Tumour
Case of Brain Tumour
This is a case of a girl of 8 years who had an episode of fainting and falling in the school premises in August ’10. No injury was significant but since that day she complained of occasional pain in the left leg with numbness. MRI showed a granuloma like lesion with significant oedema.
Once she couldn’t move her leg completely and was admitted to nanavati for the same. After the treatment she recovered but was limping while walking since then.
Lot of changes had happened physically because of the steroid intake like weight increase, excessive hair growth and hyperactivity etc. etc.
After receiving her whole case homoeopathically I started her treatment in Nov ’10.
Gradually her accessory complaints of headaches, power in her left leg and thus limping improved considerably. Her restlessness and hyperactivity also came down.
I suggested an MRI in December ’10 which showed a 50% reduction in the lesion and the oedema surrounding it.
Gradually over next few months she went on improving physically in terms of her energy and headaches and also her behaviour started reflecting a positive change. She became more calm, her extreme talkativeness reduced and her mischief also reduced.
Her steroids were gradually reduced and then ultimately stopped. Due to which her body stopped gaining weight and also her facial hair growth became less.
MRI done in March ’11 showed probable calcification of the growth due to no new growth or increase in the size of that lesion with complete resolution of the oedema surrounding it.
